Baked Beans with Pork in Molasses

Preparation time: Soak beans in water overnight, cook until soft and brown. Serves: 4-6
Recipe 1:
1 pkg. Yellow eye beans (let soak overnight)
2 tbsps. Brown sugar, ketchup
4 tbsps. Molasses
Salt and Pepper to taste
1 tsp. dry mustard
Recipe 2:
2 tsps. dry mustard
½ cup brown sugar
2/3 cup molasses
1 tsp. salt
1 lb. Beans
¼ tsp. Pepper
1/6 lb. salt pork or bacon
1 tsp. vinegar
1 medium onion
Cook bean as per instructions, then add remaining ingredients and cook all day either in
2 slices of bacon, cut-up. Cook in a slow cooker or bean crock. Remove cover last hour to brown. Seve wit warm fresh rolls and enjoy.
