Best Ginger Cookies

Preparation time: 15 minutes

1-cup butter (room temperature)
1/3 cup Brown sugar

2/3-cup molasses
1 tsp. milk

3 cups flour
1 tsp Salt
2 tsp Baking soda
2 tsp. Ginger

Combine the flour, salt, baking soda and ginger together and set aside. In a mixing bowl, cream together the butter and brown sugar and then add the milk and molasses. Mix for one minute. Add the flour mixture. Dough will be very thick. Scoop onto a floured surface and Knead until everything is combined. Cut into two balls then shape into logs. Wrap in waxed paper then set into fridge overnight or a couple of hours. Dip a knife into hot water and Slice very thin and place on a baking sheet. Bake in a preheated 350 oven for 10-12 minutes. Let cool on cookie rack.
