Ham Biscuits

Preparation time: 30 minutes. Makes 30 Biscuits

1 cup flour
1 ½ tsp. baking powder
½ tsp. dry mustard
¼ tsp. baking soda
¼ cup onion powder
½ cup reduced fat sour cream
¼ cup ground cooked ham
3 tbsp. 1% milk

Preheat oven to 450. Stir together dry ingredients. Using a wooden spoon, stir in sour cream, ham and milk. Mix just until a soft dough forms. Knead for 30 seconds on a floured surface, then pat into a 7” circle. Using a well floured cutter (1 inch) cut into biscuits. Place biscuits 1” apart in a lightly greased baking sheet, brush the tops with additional milk. Bake for 10 minutes or until golden. Makes about 30 biscuits. Serve with piping hot cup of tea or freshly brewed coffee and share with friends and family. Great as an snack or in place of bread serving with a main course meal.
