Preparation time: 25 minutes Serves 4.<\/p>\n

Ingredients:
\n2 whole eggs
\n2 egg yolks in addition to above eggs
\n1 1\/2 cups half and half cream
\n3\/8 teaspoon salt
\nDash of white pepper
\n6 slices of cooked bacon, chopped
\n4 ounces Swiss cheese, grated
\n1 nine inch pie shell
\n1\/2 teaspoon Dijon mustard
\n(See options noted below)<\/p>\n

Instructions:
\nPlace eggs, egg yolks, cream, salt and pepper in a mixing bowl or blender
\nMix well, if using a blender do NOT over mix
\nPlace crust (pie shell) on sheet pan lined with wax or parchment paper
\nBrush bottom of pie shell with 1\/2 teaspoon Dijon mustard
\nLayer and spread cooked, chopped bacon and grated Swiss cheese evenly in the shell
\nFill pie shell with quiche mixture
\nBake at 350 degrees for about 35-40 minutes or until quiche is puffed up and browning on top<\/p>\n

Options: May add chopped saute\u0301ed onion on top of bacon
